Hilary Swank may be looking to invest in a luxury dog bed after getting a pet pooch with her beau John Campisi.
Pictured in the Daily Mail, the Million Dollar Baby actress looked extremely happy to be the proud owner of a Los Angeles rescue dog.
Swank went to collect her new four legged friend with her partner's 11-year-old son Sam, who he had with his former wife.
The happy duo left the East Valley Animal Shelter with their new family member, who had a brown dog collar and lead and a blue neckerchief.
It is not uncommon for celebrities to adopt animals in need.
Fellow Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg recently adopted a pet kitten who had been thrown from the window of a moving car in New York.
Writing on her Facebook page, she said: "For all of you who remember me on The View meeting Verrazano, the kitten who was thrown out the window of a moving car on the Verrazano Bridge. I adopted him and I was finally able to take him home. His nickname is Vinny."
