Rather than playing with her dog toys on a Sunday morning, one pup from Halifax has more important things to do.
Mandy, a Yorkshire Terrier, has been to church at St Anne in the Grove every Sunday for the past 13 years.
The pup's good behaviour during services even led to the Bishop of Wakefield, Stephen Platten, to bless her.
St Anne's vicar, Reverend Guy Jamieson, told the BBC: "She's as good as gold
"She does seem to have an air of respect for the institution, because when I've visited Jean and Vernon at home, she's very excitable and noisy but seems to know that a different code of behaviour is needed in church."
He added that when he first came to the parish, it was weeks before he even noticed she was there.
According to the Yorkshire Post, Mandy began going to church when she was a puppy after her owners took her into a service because it was too hot to leave her in the car.
