What Types of Cat Flea & Tick Treatments Do We Offer?

Fleas are more than just irritating - they can cause serious health issues. A successful flea strategy involves treating both your pet and your home.

• Spot-On Treatments- these are applied onto your cat's skin, killing fleas. Some double-up as tick treatments as well depending on the formula (such as VioVet TermaFlea™ COMBO). An ideal option for fussy or nervous cats.

• Flea Collars - these give your cat long-lasting protection (typically 7-8 months) in a single application, making them a convenient alternative to monthly treatments. The collar should be continuously worn once fitted, especially for growing kittens as the fit may need adjusting over time.

• Home & Environmental Sprays - these are for use on carpets, soft furnishings, and skirting boards. We also recommend vacuuming before sprays to help disturb flea life stages, and washing bed bedding on a hot cycle.
