Raw, commercial kibble or something in between?

Raw, commercial kibble or something in between?

Feeding raw is something many pet owners prefer to do, while others are extremely satisfied with the standard of commercial diets on the market. But is there a mid-way food that caters to both sets of owners?

Natures Menu complete foods make raw feeding easy, convenient, and often slightly cheaper, without compromising on the natural goodness of traditional raw feeding. They also make it safer for pets by containing balanced proportions of the proteins and vitamins they need, which all too often get missed or included in short supply, and ignoring the problematic ingredients like cereal and grain that are linked to skin and digestive problems.

That said, Natures Menu foods are also ‘ready meal’ enough to be appealing to commercial diet feeders, as well as being nutritionally balanced and complete, palatable and easy to store. There’s no weighing involved, no mixing or mess – all you need to do is thaw and serve.

But choosing a commercial diet isn’t about being lazy or unconcerned about what your pets are eating; many pets are actually better suited to this type of feeding, and as long as you are choosing a high-quality food with a high meat content and no cheap fillers, there is no reason to change onto raw. This is worth remembering; if your pet is thriving, stick with it.

However, if you are intrigued by more natural feeding or have been advised to explore this avenue for your pet’s health, then Natures Menu might be a good starting point. Because the foods are pre-cooked and prepared, they won’t require too much of your time.

If you are already a raw feeder and find preparing meals too time-consuming or too messy, then again, these foods can be a more convenient alternative on days when you simply don’t have the time or motivation.

And you needn’t worry about the quality or palatability either. Not only do Natures Menu work with carefully selected British suppliers and local farmers, they only select human-grade meat cuts sourced from ethically reared animals, and all their ingredients are fully traceable.

I realise this is an old comment but can you explain why raw food is dangerous. I don't feed my dog raw food but it is something I have considered and cost/practicalities have put me off.

I too as a raw feeder would like Angela to explain the research behind her claim that raw feeding is dangerous
