- With a tape measure, begin at the point where the neck meets the centre of the chest, and measure the length to the hindmost part of the quarters (10-12 inches below the base of the tail).
- Ensure accuracy with careful measurements, keeping the tape level and taught, taking numerous recordings if necessary.
- Allow an extra 3" for Turnout Rugs, especially those with a neck cover.
