Our dog loves the food and his coat is so much better

This is the dog food my dog has decided to eat! She used to eat another brand but then just stopped. This seemed good quality and she seems to love it. Only complaint is that one tin had to be thrown away because it had blown.

Can my 13yr dog have this for kidney disease
This depends on the severity of your dog's kidney disease. If your vet has advised a special veterinary diet then you should stick to this diet as much as possible. It is recommended to contact your vet for dietary advice regarding this condition.

I have a diabetic pom who has been on royal canine diabetic wet food. Struggling to get this csn you recommend anything.
You can use any diet for a diabetic dog but changing the diet may affect your dog's insulin requirements. It is preferred to use slow release carbohydrates too so that the blood sugar levels are kept relatively constant. Veterinary diets like Royal Canin Diabetic are formulated in this way.
I recommend running any diet changes past your vet to ensure they feel this would be safe. A more appropriate option would be to use an alternate brand of veterinary diabetc wet food, such as Purina OM. Only your vet can safely advise whether a different diet is safe for your specific pet though.

Is this a good tin dog food for a diabetic dog ?
I recommend discussing your dog's diet with your vet if they are diabetic. You can continue your dog's normal food if they are diabetic and I do not recommend changing the diet unless advised by your vet as this will change your dog's insulin requirements. Ideally though your vet may advise a diabetic specific diet that contain slow release carbohydrates, such as Purina Pro Plan DM.

Can I give cans to 9 week puppy
Yes this food can be fed to a 9 week old puppy as long as they are weaned. I recommend using the puppy version of the diet as this is specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of a pup.

My dog has had pancreatitis and a slight flare up recently. Which is the best canned dog food in your range please? I think most are fairly low fat. Is one better than the others.
Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your question,
I have spoken with Natures Menu and they would advise the light with chicken and rabbit pouches or the country hunter rabbit in the cans, they have a lower fat content.
Always check with your vet also.
Thank you.
