Verm-X for Farm Animals helps to control intestinal challenges, promote good health and a healthy gut and digestive system. It contains blood cleansing properties and has been shown to improve the general look of cattle after use.
Intestinal problems in farm animals can be serious enough to cause weight loss, decreased milk production and even death, so as Verm-X can be used year round without any effect to meat or milk, there is no reason not to either fight a current challenge or prevent a new one with arising with Verm-X.

We are delighted to have found this product for worming our goat. We had purchased an injection before but the vet would only provide it if they came out and saw the goat as she hadn't been seen in two years. Your product is so easy to give to the goat in with her food . She now has her own calendar in the goat shed to keep a record of worming days. Fully recommend.

Your product comes up when I search for worming options for goats. You say it’s good for gut health does it rid and prevent worms in goats?
This is a natural herbal product that promotes good gut health and helps reduce the worm burden. It is not a worming medication and so is not guaranteed to kill worms. If you are looking for a wormer then unfortunately there are no over the counter wormers currently licensed in goats, I recommend discussing appropriate options with your vet.

Could you tell me the dosage required for 4 x Pygmy goats? Trying to work out which size tub I will need
The recommended dose for goats is 10g per head for 7 consecutive days, once every month. Although Pygmy goats are small this product is very safe so you would be extremely unlikely to give too much. It is better to slightly overdose than underdose. At this dose the 1.5kg tub would provide a 5 month's supply to your 4 goats.

I'm looking for a wormer which will be suitable for goats and sheep. However , the sheep are pregnant. Is vermex safe for the sheep? If not , what is?
Thank you
Hi Alison,
Verm-X Sheep & Goats would be an excellent choice for both your groups, and is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy and while the mother is feeding its young. The ingredients are 100% natural with the added benefit that there is no withdrawal time for milk and meat too. Monthly treatment is recommended, and the feeding guideline is 10g per head for 7 consecutive days. Each tub comes with a 10g scoop so it is easy to measure out, and the pellets are simply added to their feed ration.
If you need any help working out which tub size you will need, please feel free to get in touch. As an example, the 1.5kg tub would provide a 4 month's supply to 5 animals, or a 2 month supply to 10 animals.
