Description

Verm-X is a 100% natural, palatable and easy to use formulation that controls intestinal hygiene whilst being gentle on the gut and digestive system.

Verm-X creates an environment in the gut and digestive system which is able to attack and expel challenges in this area.

Whereas chemical products generally work on whatever challenges are present at the time of feeding, the environment Verm-X builds is designed to stay active throughout the year, so that so long as fed as instructed, it is able to stop anything from settling and doing it's damage, keeping your horses healthy and you happy!

The herbs used in our equine formulation have blood cleansing and gut maintenance properties.

We recommend that all equines have regular faecal checks to avoid unnecessary control programmes. Faecal tests should be performed 21 days after the last day Verm-X is fed.

Verm-X is ideal for horses and ponies sensitive to pharmaceutical chemicals and can be used solely all year round. There are no known resistances to Verm-X.

At last a convenient, natural and palatable way to ensure intestinal wellbeing for your horse. We don’t use syringes.

Feeding guidelines

Liquid

The liquid form is administered every month for 3 consecutive days:

  • Horses under 11.2hh - 12.5ml per day
  • Horses over 11.2hh - 25ml per day

Verm-X Horse Liquid is designed to be added into drinking water which proves particularly useful for owners of larger herds of horses kept together.

Pellets

Pellets are fed for 5 consecutive days every 3 months:

  • Horses under 11.2hh - 25g per day
  • Horses over 11.2hh - 50g per day

Although the pellets can be mixed into a feed they are designed to be fed from your hand as a treat and contain a small amount of aniseed and molasses to make them extra tasty.

Powder

The powder form is administered for 5 consecutive days every 3 months:

  • Horses under 11.2hh - 8g per day
  • Horses over 11.2hh - 12g per day

The powder is quite fine and so does need mixing in with a feed. This form of our product is particularly popular with owners whose horses are prone to laminitis or cushings as it is simply a blend of our equine herbs with nothing else added. This also helps us to keep the pricing low making this form particularly cost effective.

How quickly do you deliver?

Under almost all products on our website is an Estimated dispatch time, check this for a delivery prediction specific to the item you are looking to purchase. These badges are updated live based on the stock levels we have and also those of our suppliers - so are usually very accurate, but cannot be guaranteed. In more general terms, we aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receiving payment (and a prescription if required). If we cannot do so within 3 working days we will contact you by email.

What do you charge for delivery?

For UK delivery, we charge the following:

Order Total Weight Delivery
£0-£28.99 Under 2kg £2.99
2kg+ £4.99

Temperature controlled products, such as Insulin, are also not always subject to the standard and/or free delivery options.

For full information on our delivery charges, including prices on heavy deliveries to Scotland and abroad, see our delivery information page.

For deliveries to the USA you may need to go to the checkout page and enter your full address to get a quote (as some services need your state in order to quote too). Delivery of aerosols

Due to air freight restrictions aerosols cannot ever be sent abroad by Royal Mail. We appreciate your understanding.

Delivery of temperature controlled items

Some products, such as insulin and frozen food, need to be delivered in insulated packaging to prevent them from getting too warm (or too cold) during transit from us to you. Purchasing any of these items in your order will result in a £1.99 charge being added to the total to cover the high cost of the insulated packaging materials. You only pay the £1.99 once per order, regardless of how many temperature controlled items you purchase in that order.

How do I cancel or return an order?

Please call us as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel an order on 01582 842096. If your order has been processed for dispatch we will be unable to cancel or amend the order. You will however be able to return your product for a full refund*.

To return an item, you must contact us by phone or email to arrange this BEFORE posting any product back to us. We will explain the process at this stage for you.

Question how many pellets in a large tub

Caroline Rogers

Hi how many pellets are in a 1.5 kilo gran tub I have 3 horses to worm

  • Veterinary Advisor

I am not sure how many pellets there are in each tub but the quantity of pellets is measured in weight. The recommendation for horses over 11.2hh is 50g per day over 5 consecutive days every 3 months. So for 3 horses you would be using 150g a day. A 1.5kg tub would therefore last 10 days so you should be able to get 2 courses out of each tub.

What worms does it cover?

Karen Holliday

Please can you tell me what worms this has an effect on? Tapeworm,Redworm,Bots Ect;
Many Thanks

  • Customer Service Manager

The manufacturers do not state what this product targets specifically. However this is a herbal remedy rather than a treatment for worms. As well as herbs to control intestinal challenges there are herbs in Verm-X for blood cleansing and others for gut maintenance. The herbs included in Verm-X have been carefully blended together to work synergistically with each other.
