Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez will now have to spend their money on dog food and pet toys after adopting an animal from a rescue centre.
The teen couple, who have been dating for around eight months, adopted the puppy, named Baylor, from a rescue centre in Winnipeg, Canada.
Baylor has since been keeping his new mum company after she got ill while on tour.
She wrote on her Twitter account: "After 12 hours of medicine, tea, 1374 cans of soup and throwing up right when I get off stage ending my night with Baylor watching friends is perfect."
"I'm so sorry I was sick. I love you guys so much."
The 19-year-old also posted a picture of herself cuddling the dog in her hotel room in Canada.
D'Arcy Johnston, chief executive of the animal rescue centre where the couple adopted Baylor, told People the famous duo spent a great deal of time with the puppies on their visit, adding that he was surprised she adopted a puppy because of her busy schedule.
