Hi, I purchased this for traveling with my horse but I was wondering wether it could be used as a turnout rug in the summer to keep my horse cool and protect him from the flies?

Thank you for getting in touch.
Due to the material used it may be too hot to use in the summer sun. You will also notice that it's baggy and will not provide a good cover against small insects and flies as the holes in the cooler are big enough for them to crawl through.
