Seriously tough, this circular ground feeder dramatically cuts waste, slows consumption AND is a great boredom breaker. The speed of consumption is equivalent to a horse naturally grazing grass.

This is a really good idea and its doing a great job of preventing any wastage feeding hay in the field. Slight negative is that its not very easy to fill. The opening at the bottom is just a bit small for squeezing a leaf of hay through, but it can be done. You can also just about manouvre the grid from the top to slide 2 or 3 leafs of hay underneath it. I am getting 3 good leafs of hay under the grid (one way or another) and then a final fourth leaf on top (so giving free access to the first leaf). I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm overall really pleased with it, but future improvements would be to make it 4 inches taller so it could hold a little more and make the hole in the bottom a bit bigger so its easier to fill.

I assume the slow feeding grid is included? Only it’s not shown on the pictures. I know you can purchase a different grid to allow medium grazing rate.
The Stubbs Slo-Grazer for Horses Blue does not include the slow feeding grid as standard, which is why it’s not shown in the pictures. The grid is sold separately, allowing you to choose the appropriate one to control your horse’s grazing rate whether slow, medium, or faster
