Specific CAD Active contains an increased level of fat to ensure a higher concentration of free fatty acids in the blood. This serves as a source of energy for the more active dog because of their higher energy requirements. The high quality protein content ensures for healthy maintenance and development of muscle mass. High levels of omega 3 fatty acids from fish are also present as they improve the immune system, inhibit inflammatory processes, give a healthy skin and coat, protect against renal diseases and ensure healthy joints. Specific CAD Active is also suitable for dogs with an increased need for energy and nutrients due to disease or surgery.
Animal fat, soy protein, fish meal, eggs, rice, wheat, potato protein, yeast (including source of ß-1,3/1,6-glucans), sugar, maize protein, minerals, maize starch, vitamins and trace elements, psyllium husk, sunflower oil, methionine, L-carnitine.

The daily individual requirement may vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season, activity etc. During races, sledge dogs may require up to three to four times as much energy compared to the energy requirement of the normal dog. It is therefore advisable to continue monitoring condition and body weight, adjusting the amount fed accordingly. Because of the high content of fat in CAD Active, it is recommended that the diet is changed from the dog’s usual diet to CAD Active during a period of 5-7 days.

Some products, such as non-ambient items and frozen food, need to be delivered in insulated packaging to prevent them from getting too warm (or too cold) during transit from us to you. Purchasing any of these items in your order will result in a £1.99 charge being added to the total to cover the high cost of the insulated packaging materials. You only pay the £1.99 once per order, regardless of how many temperature controlled items you purchase in that order.
Please call us as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel an order on 01582 842096. If your order has been processed for dispatch we will be unable to cancel or amend the order. You will however be able to return your product for a full refund*.
To return an item, you must contact us by phone or email to arrange this BEFORE posting any product back to us. We will explain the process at this stage for you.
