INSTRUCTIONS
Cutaneous use. One collar per animal to be fastened around the neck.
Remove collar from protective bag directly before use. Unroll collar and make sure that there are no remnants from the plastic connectors inside the collar. Adjust the collar around the animal's neck without tightening it too tight (as a guide, it should be possible to insert 2 fingers between the collar and the neck). Pull excess collar through the loop and cut off any excess length extending beyond 2 cm.
The collar should be worn continuously for the 7–8-month protection period and should be removed after the treatment period. Check periodically and adjust fit, if necessary, especially when kittens are rapidly growing.

We are no longer on an stra where we have ticks but I still use Seresto collars as the most effective and easiest way to prevent problems from fleas. Tho they are also very effective against ticks.

How effective is this against ticks on cats? I've tried a spot on treatment but it's short term only and my previously unticked older lady Fliss keeps getting them I can't afford the vet, and he wants to charge for a prescription anyway
Yes, Seresto does cover ticks as well as fleas.

hello. my one year old cat was given a topical treatment called stronghold a week ago, unfortunately it hasn’t worked against fleas. Is it safe for my cat to now where the seresto flea collar? thank you
Yes, it is generally safe for your one-year-old cat to wear a Seresto flea collar even if you recently applied a topical treatment like Stronghold, as long as the Stronghold has had time to fully absorb and is not causing any adverse reactions.
Up to 95% of the flea population live in the environment, so ensure to treat the house with something such as Indorex Defence and hoover every day. It's also important to remember that it will take at least 3 months for the population to die down when treating a flea infestation. Can this collar be used on a 7 month old kitten
Yes, Seresto is safe for use in kittens 10 weeks or older. You may need to adjust the collar as your kitten grows.

My dog has the seresto collar, and has recently been wormed with Cestem, could there be any problem with this combination, as she's gone off her food
Seresto contains Imidacloprid and Flumethrin whilst Cesteem contains Pyrantel/Febantel/Praziquantel. These are completely different active ingredients and are safe to use together.
It is likely the signs you ar seeing are not related to Cesteem or Seresto as adverse reactions are rare, but if you are concerned that either of the medications have caused what you are seeing then please contact us on [email protected] so we can investigate this further for you.

Can they cause constipation
Constipation is not a listed side effect for Seresto so this is unlikely related. In fact a rare side effect is diarrhoea, the opposite of constipation.
