I needed hydrogel for a very large cut my horse had to have stitched by the vet to keep the wound clean and moist. Robinsons Vetalintex Hydrogel is just what I needed and it was a reasonable price, thank you Viovet.

I didn't clock how small the tube was. Probably enough for a single use. As a hydrogel, it does what it says

Is this product suitable for a stalled wound/ulcer in the lower leg of an elderly patient? There is no infection, but extensive weeping/exudate from the wound.
This product is suitable for a moist, oozing wound. It should be applied directly to the wound and then covered with a sterile dressing. This should be removed, the wound cleaned gently (dilute salt water is fine) and then the dressing replaced as often as required. If progress is not being made, then get your vet to look at it.
