While ageing is inevitable, it doesn’t mean that your pet can’t continue to enjoy a high quality of life into their senior years – they may just need a little help! Maintaining normal brain function is key to avoiding distressing behaviours caused by ageing and allowing our pets to continue leading their lives feeling alert and filled with vitality.
Supplements can be costly and we can find ourselves with limited options so, just like the rest of our VioVet own brand range, we wanted our customers to have a trustworthy, more affordable product for their senior pets.
Our concentrated formula is rich in antioxidants which help to actively reduce the action of damaging free radicals. It also contains a complex of ingredients which are critical in promoting normal brain health and function, most importantly in neuron activity which carry messages within the brain.
• Disorientation, wandering or pacing (or even getting a bit lost in familiar places)
• Lack of energy
• Confusion and forgetting normal routines
• Disinterest in family members
• Changes in temperament (e.g. barking familiar faces)
• Increased anxiety
• Reduced responsiveness to commands
• Loss of toilet training
To get the most benefit, we recommend to start feeding RenewMe™ in your pet’s senior years to help inhibit the development of cognitive decline with age, or as soon as signs are first noticed.
Can be opened and sprinkled directly into food or given whole. If your pet needs more than 1 capsule per day, we recommend dividing the amount between the morning and evening.

I purchased these after reading a recommendation on a group to see if they would help my elderly dog with dementia. I have to say after a couple of weeks of being on them she's much brighter and more alert, so I will continue her with them. Thank you :)

Pip is about 15/16 years old, has joint issues and is blind (we/the vet thinks she may have suffered a stroke leading to the blindness) Usually she is very sluggish and recently she has been forgetting where things are, like her food or litter tray. We've been using RenewMe for about 5 days and the difference already is AMAZING. She is so much brighter and interested in things and even went directly to the litter tray today with no issues. Absolutely love this product!

We felt our 17 year old arthritic cat was showing signs of possible dementia - disinterest in food, inactive, not going out and sleeping even more, hiding away, seeming 'switched off' sometimes. We tried RenewMe and were surprised to see quite a difference in her - eating better, more active and agile, interacting more with us, and generally seeming happier! Our Vet, whom I thought would be sceptical, said it had various health giving ingredients, useful in conjunction with her prescribed arthritis medication. The only problem was administering it as she hates the taste and smell! I tried mixing capsule contents with cream cheese and smearing it on the roof of her mouth, but best tactic seems to be rolling the capsule in butter and pushing it right down her throat, followed by a reward of butter on the paw to lick off! Smokie is now on her 2nd course of RenewMe.

How long will it take for me to see any difference in my lovely older boy. He barks every time a door closes and I’m hopeful this will make a difference and reduce the frequency
It is recommended to trial the product for at least 7 to 14 days to determine if it is helping your specific pet. Results can be see within a few days in some cases however.

My senior cat (17 or so this year) has recently had a bad bout of illness and was unable to keep her food down for a period of time. She's being seen by the vets and her blood tests came back clear, so she's had a change of diet and seems to be keeping that down. However the flare up of illness seems to have rapidly sped up her FCD symptoms over the past week, and I wanted to check if this would be suitable for her or if it's not advised for cats with sensitive digestion? The vet did recommend YuMove for her joints and I'll be contacting them tomorrow about adding this supplement to her diet, but thought it couldn't hurt to ask here as well.
There is nothing specific within RenewMe™ Vitality & Cognitive Support Capsules for Cats & Dogs that should cause an issue for a pet with sensitive digestion. However if the underlying cause is a food allergy or intolerance then it cannot be ruled out that one of the ingredients would set off this allergy/intolerance. It is worth running it's use past your vet, as you say, just to be certain.

My dog has been prescribed Prednisolone following a diagnosis of insulinoma. I had been giving her RenewMe for cognitive support with good effect prior to this diagnosis. Can I continue to give her RenewMe alongside the Prednisolone. Many thanks.
Yes, I can confirm that RenewMe is safe for use alongside Prednisolone. We also advise as a general rule checking any supplement use past your vet if they have a specific treatment plan in mind just in case there are any future plans it may interfere with. However I cannot think of any reason that would casue RenewMe to interfere with the treatment plan for insulinoma.

My cat is 16 and diabetic. She has insulin injections twice a day. She is taking Prozinc. Will the vitality and cognitive support be suitable for her.
Yes, this supplement can safely be used alongside ProZinc. It is advised to give them at the same time as a meal for a diabetic cat, it will have a very minimal impact on blood sugar levels but it is best to ensure any impact is during an expected impact that your insulin injection plan already caters for (such as meal times).

My dog is using Vivitonin for suspected CCD. Can these be used in addition? He also suffers from separation anxiety.

Hi, my dog suffers from gall bladder mucocele which she has destolit and hepaticare for. She is now also showings signs of becoming a little senile and I want to know if she can have the renew-me alongside her current medication?
The ingredients within RenewMe do not specifically interfere with gall bladder mucoceles or the use of destolit/hepaticare. However without knowing the exact cause to your dog's mucocele we cannot say for certain that the supplement is safe. We recommend running it's use past your vet to be certain.

Will these help and support cognitive function for dogs with epilepsy? Also are they okay to administer to a dog who is on Phenobarbital and levetiracetam? Thanks
Yes this product is safe to use in an epileptic on Phenobarbital and Levetiracetam. It will help support cognitive dysfunction but will not assist the epilepsy. I recommend running past the addition of any supplements with your vet first just in case this interferes with their treatment plan.

Hi,
My 12 year old cat is on Thyronorm 0.5 ml twice a day-is renew me safe to use alongside this?
Also, once the capsule is opened, is Renew me palatable -and if not, do you sell an alternative that is?!
Thank you
Yes RenewMe is safe to use alongside Thyronorm. It is not flavoured but should be taken easily if mixed into some wet food. if your cat is normally fed dry then you can use a small amount of wet food as a treat. Unfortunately there are no flavoured brain support supplements like this.
Gaelle Sorel
Can I mix Renew Me, Yumove and Yucalm together in wet food for my cat ?
Yes all 3 of these products can be used safely together as long as you follow the dosing guidelines on the packaging. I recommend checking out our own brand versions of YuMove and YuCalm, Joint Force and SettleMe.
