ReguTum™ Fibre & Probiotic Care has been developed to provide rabbits with digestive support in a range of situations. Our goal is to help you with their long-term digestive tract health, minimise dietary related upset and avoid associated complications. It is a perfect supplement to help the hindgut function as intended when fed with a forage based diet, rich in fibre and a variety of fresh leafy greens.
ReguTum™ provides rabbits with multiple sources of soluble prebiotic fibre and FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) to help diversify and feed the bacteria they rely on to ferment (break down) fibre in their food, allowing them to extract the nutrients needed. It is also a rich source of a live probiotic yeast, S.cerevisiae, which is well documented for its ability to promote rapid repopulation of beneficial microbes after digestive upset or antibiotic treatment, and to support a stable gut environment. Beta glucans provide additional support to beneficial gut bacteria, aid in nutrient absorption and can help achieve a healthy weight.
Choose ReguTum™:
For daily use, and long-term digestion support
As part of a recovery plan for a range of digestive upsets
For use after antibiotic treatment
To help with stress and dietary related digestive upset eg. moving house, loss of companion or ingestion of inappropriate food
ReguTum™ Probiotic & Fibre Care should be fed daily and is suitable for long-term use.
The below amounts are to be fed per rabbit:
For adult rabbits, sprinkle one level scoop over normal food. For weaned, young rabbits, sprinkle half a scoop over normal food.
It is important to introduce dietary changes slowly to allow the gut to adjust. We recommend gradually building up to the required amount of over 7 days.
Amount fed can be adjusted under veterinary guidance to suit the needs of individual rabbits.
We do not recommend feeding this product ad libitum or in a separate bowl, to reduce selective eating.
Good quality hay or fresh grass should be available at all times to provide adequate levels of indigestible fibre and allow their digestion to work and keep food moving through quickly as intended. Grazing would naturally take up around two thirds of a rabbit’s or guinea pig’s day, ensuring they are both mentally stimulated, and their teeth are worn down through constant use.
Ensure fresh water is also available at all times.

Is this product much different to protexin profibre pellets or just a similar product by a different brand?
Our own brand ReguTum FibreCare has very similar ingredients to Protexin ProFibre and works very similarly. They both contain the same pro and pre biotic, ReguTum also contains an additional binding agent (Bentonite) to normalise stool consistency.

Hi there,
Is the ReguTum a replacement or alternative to a bunny's daily pellets or would you add it to their daily pellets? Is it a powder (instructions say to sprinkle over normal food without specifying what normal food is (pellets or greens or hay). There's no picture of the product so it's hard to visualize, and my bunnies don't like the pellet "dust" at the bottom of the bag.
Is it something you could put in a blender and mix with water when a bunny isn't feeling well as an alternative to Oxbow Critical Care or Sherwood Recovery Food?
How does it taste?
Thanks!
ReguTum Pellets for rabbits is meant to be used in addition to your pet's normal diet. It should not be used as a replacement for normal pelleted feed. It comes in pellet form, similar to that of most concentrate nuggets.
It is best used in a rabbit that is already eating to either prevent gut problems or treat any current issues. It has a taste similar to other nuggeted feed, which your bunny should love! We recommend mixing the pellets with your rabbit's current food as rabbit's tend to turn their nose up at any change or addition to the diet initially.

Hello! I just wonder how much is one scoop. I have 5 ml ( tea spoon size), 15 ml (table spoon size) and some larger ones. Thank you for answer in advance.
The scoop is 10ml, and holds approximately 12g of product. The scoop is included in the product and you do not need to use your own spoons to dose.

The main ingredient is beet pulp, so I was wondering if this is known to be a GM source, or if this product is free of genetically modified organisms?
I can confirm the Beet Pulp we use isn't GM sourced, and the Actisaf probiotic yeast in the product is also non-genetically modified.
