Royal Canin Calm CC 36 is a complete food for adult cats to be fed every day. It has been specifically formulated to help cats which are in stressful situations. It will help to combat stress-related digestive, skin and urinary manifestations and can be fed as a support for cats undergoing behavioural therapy for anxiety disorders.

Anxiety, sleep and appetite will be regulated with L-tryptophan, which is a serotonin precursor. To help your cat maintain a healthy emotional balance, the food contains a combination of Alpha-S1 casein trypsic hydrolysate and tryptophan (an amino acid). The food will also help your cat's digestion and skin, helping to prevent and treat any stress-related problems.

Digestive tolerance will be improved with nutrients that help digestive transit and support a balanced intestinal flora. Additionally, the food will help to eliminate hairballs with a blend of fibres which help intestinal transit and the removal of hairballs in stools.

Royal Canin veterinary dients should only be given in conjunction with your vets recommendation!

35 I don’t know.

I can’t really tell if this has made a difference, because so far it has been mixed with food the cat is used to. He is calmer than he was, but has been taking another product as well, and had a steroid injection from the vet. But I like to give him Royal Canin food, because most cats enjoy it, and it is good quality.

55 helps keep our cat calm less oversensitive

Our vet originally suggested our cat try this food as she was attacking & biting her tail as though it was not part of herself, she would twitch it violently and treated it as though it was attacking her. I think the food must make her skin less oversensitive. She stopped attacking het tail once eating this. Recently she was off the Calm food for a week due to a delayed delivery and the twitching and self-harming started back up within days. She loves this food, none goes to waste. She is much friendlier and happier on this food.

Misky loves the flavour, and maybe it's a coincidence but I've had the first full night sleep since he went blind, he seems more content and comfortable and I will be ordering my next bag soon

Use with prozac

My cat is currently on prozac due to spraying issues (tried all sorts of other solutions first, but nothing worked). Is it ok to feed him this diet whilst on this medication?
