bought this for our schnauzer - had been using the regular denmarin and thought this ‘chewable’ advanced version sounded better. Wrong…the tablet shape and size is round and huge compared to the regular denmarin. Also although sold for up to 10kg any dog over 5kg has to take 2 tablets. Our dog usually eats anything but she wasn’t touching these on her own. We had to cut in half and bury in some paste or chicken breast. My mistake as had presumed would be 1 tablet for under 10kg and not 2. It makes it much more expensive and I’d thought - wrongly - this would be more economical as well as a better way for our dog to have the tablets. Easier for them to swallow and more treat-like. I do think the description could have been clearer about both of the areas. As said, my misunderstanding. This feedback is really to do with ease of use and cost. Back to regular denmarin as the advanced is even more work to administer. can’t really comment on effectiveness or side effect as only had one dose today and we won’t be using again. wanted to leave blank but was unable to do so. .

These supplements were recommended from our vet for our border Collie who had advanced liver cancer. She was slowing down and eating very little and the end wasnt far away. Kalici started them and within 3 days her appetite improved and she was able to gain sustanance enough to raise her energy for a couple of weeks more. I wish we knew about these earlier as we did notice a difference. Thank you
