My cat has diabetes. The cost of buying insulin from the surgery was astronomical. I was able to get it from Vio Vet for less than half that charged by the vet. It arrived in a special bag which had an ice block yo keep it at the required temperature. Delighted with Vio Vet

My cat was given 1.5 year life expectancy when he first got diabetes he was 14 yrs old and on different insulin. He is now 17 and thriving and I believe this is due to Prozinc being an excellent medicine. Also the way VioVet packaged and delivered was outstanding, thank you.

Having tried Caninsulin , with a poor outcome, I investigated alternatives on the internet and found Prozinc which is SPECIFICALLY for felines. Feline diabetes is much more difficult to manage well, and I am very pleased with the results achieved with Prozinc.
Small has been on 8 months now and I have not had to increase the insulin dosage.
It is administered twice daily, 12 hours apart.
Would not hesitate in recommending to others who have felines with diabetes.

What type of syringe would one use to administer ProZinc to cats? Is it the same as those used for Caninsulin?
A U-40 syringe must be used to administer ProZinc insulin. You can find these in the "select product" drop down on the ProZinc insulin page.
