25 Bought for an itchy patch

I am nearly at the end of the first packet. So far I have nothing to report, he is still itching. I bought 2 packs - so I will update after using both. I have tried lots of things. Nothing so far has helped. Neither have vet treatment and an hyper-allergenic diet??? Not great value when feeding a big dog.

first tried this on my boxer a couple of months ago, it worked well. Did notice a change in her skin, digestive system and stools when I ran out during lockdown. So I managed to order some more so shes only been back on it a week and half so hopefully it will help again.

Dry food

Stevie

Is it ok to give this powder with dry food ?

  • VioVet Staff

Hi Stevie

Thanks for your question. Could you add a small amount of warm water to the food the help the powder stick to it? Otherwise you could sprinkle over a slice of ham or add to some tuna.

Kind regards

Bridget

Raw diet

Paul

I've been using your product for a few month, I've changed my 1 year old staffie diet to raw food , with the omega oils in your pack will that be enough or will I have to add more oils

  • VioVet Staff

For most dogs what you are doing should be adequate on its own. However there are some individuals which for whatever reason seem to respond well to additional levels of these oils. If your dog appears well then I would be happy with that and assume all is well. If you are in doubt, there is actually no harm in adding some extra supplement for a while and seeing if it makes a noticeable difference. You might have to try it to know.

Do i have to be on this as a permanent supliment

H clarke

Hi was wondering once reaching the desired effects, is it wise to stop using this suppliment or does it have to be a permanent addition to their food.

  • VioVet Staff

If the supplement can be seen to have brought about an improvement, then it is usual to maintain it permanently. Often it is possible to do this at a half dose, depending on your judgment of the ongoing effect.

How long will it last?

Pauline

I have a large lurcher. How long would 200gr of the Bionic Biotic last. Do you do larger packs.

  • VioVet Staff

To get the feeding amount and how long one pack will last you need to get the weight of your dog. I have added the guidelines to the product page. Unfortunately Bionic Biotic is only available in a 200g bag.
