I have an elderly German Shepherd with hip dysplasia . Because of this she does not exercise very much and is on Metacam for the pain. For several months she has had problems with constipation and straining was painful for her. The product my vet had prescribed cured the constipation but then she had diarrohea! We didn't seem to be able to find anything that made life easy for her. I saw PetCol advertised and within a couple of days of using it my dog was going to the toilet much more naturally. I use it regularly and it has changed her life. I sprinkle half a teaspoon of Pet-Col onto her meal. She is not a greedy dog and eats slowly but has no objection to the Pet-Col and happily eats it. She has had no side effects from it and I would recommend it to others.

Will this help with the emptying of the anal glands?
This supplement contains fibre and so may be beneficial for aiding the normal expression of the anal glands.
