PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine EN Gastrointestinal is a highly digestible complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and pancreatic conditions in dogs of all ages, including puppies. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PPVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut. PPVD Canine EN is low fat, which is particularly important for dogs with pancreatic conditions, and contains a type of fat that is easier to digest and absorb. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids and soluble fibre (prebiotics) to help promote a healthy intestinal environment.
Medium-chain fatty acids, a specific form of fat from coconut which is easy for dogs to digest and absorb.
Low residue: easy-to-digest ingredients to help reduce gut workload and minimise non-absorbed nutrients.

It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use
Recommended length of time for use: 3 to 12 weeks, but lifetime in case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency. Water should always be available.

Got the first few tins of this from a friend and tried it on my Lhasa who often has an upset tummy and is a fussy eater. He absolutely loves it. Although it is quite expensive he only needs a small. Amount as it is very nutritious. He has a quarter tin for breakfast and a quarter tin for dinner with a pedigree pouch added. He eats it all whereas he would often leave his food or not touch it at all. His poo is much improved too so it's a winner all round. Vio vet were the cheapest supplier with free delivery so much better than buying from the vet.
