PURINA® PROPLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Canine EN Gastrointestinal is a highly digestible complete veterinary diet to help manage gastrointestinal and pancreatic conditions in dogs of all ages, including puppies. Intestinal disorders are frequently associated with poor digestion, which may worsen symptoms, so PPVD EN contains selected highly digestible ingredients in order to help reduce the workload on the compromised gut and to minimise the amount of nutrients that are not absorbed and remain in the gut. PPVD Canine EN is low fat, which is particularly important for dogs with pancreatic conditions, and contains a type of fat that is easier to digest and absorb. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids and soluble fibre (prebiotics) to help promote a healthy intestinal environment.
Medium-chain fatty acids, a specific form of fat from coconut which is easy for dogs to digest and absorb.
Low residue: easy-to-digest ingredients to help reduce gut workload and minimise non-absorbed nutrients.

Having a labrador with pancreatitis is distressing for him & us to manage. This food isn’t the cheapest but the science that has gone into this recipe for keeping our dog healthy is invaluable as you can imagine. We invested in this feed & for him & also give him raw chunks of carrot which supports his digestion & helps with the tartar on his teeth!

My dog is 12 years old and under 5 kegs in weight ..
her weight is fine but she had pancreatitis 6 years ago
And I’ve been very careful with her food since
It’s the kibble size I’d like to know as she has a few teeth removed in the past
Thanks
I have contacted Purina and they have confirmed that the kibble size is between 9.5mm-10.5mm per piece.

We are a rescue centre charity no 262538 we have 2 sickly white GSD dogs and the vet has recommended Purina en - this is very expensive for us but we want to do the best for these poor dogs. Are their any treats suitable for use with Purina en? Please help
Something like the Thrice ProReward chicken flavour treats would be good. They are just made form high quality air-dried chicken meat and are easy to digest for a dog on EN.
