I felt that this was more of a play thing for them t play around on the floor. To chew and toss around, with there own paws.
As i threw it it just didnt have the momentum t go far as it was just a play thing rather something that i could throw. My dog played with it as a chew thing. Not suitable t throw cuz of the weight...but a great play thing..

I bought this as a second frisbee, in case we lose the first one,as my dog loves her Kong flyer so much! The original one is thick and durable, still flying even with a couple of notches in it, and surviving multiple dogs trying to have a tug of war. I was disappointed to find that Kong have reduced the thickness now. The new one seems less tough and more like other frisbees that don't last so well.

Sorry but this is not up to the normal high standard of Kong products, it split in 3 places on the rim on the first use and also my German Shepherd managed to put o hole through the flyer.
I brought the ball for medium/large dogs at the same time and that is brilliant, also have the long twisted toy which is excellent.
It isn't strong enough for dogs with powerful jaws such a shame as he loves playing with it.
