Hilton Herbs Cleaver & Marigold are regarded as 'sister’ herbs by herbalists and are specific for supporting the horse's lymphatic and glandular systems. It is recommended particularly for stabled horses, elderly horses whose legs may become filled when stabled (in conjunction with stable bandages), when exercise is restricted or at any other time when lymphatic support is required.

Hilton Herbs Cleaver & Marigold should be added to the feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds.

How much do I have give?
The amount of herbs you need to give is generally dependent on the height of your horse, with some allowance for type. Full instructions will be found on the packaging. The quantity of herbs added to your horse or pony's feed can be slightly increased or decreased, depending on the circumstances. Very often a lower maintenance dose can be sufficient for a horse or pony that is going to be kept on the herbs long-term. Remember, like humans, all horses and ponies are individuals.

You only pay the £1.99 once per order, regardless of how many temperature controlled items you purchase in that order.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Hilton Herbs Cleaver & Marigold for Horses, including answers from our team.
Can this be used long term? Am considering using October- May to help legs that fill when stabled overnight during the winter .thanks.
Yes this supplement is intended to be used long term so is fine to use for filling of legs over the winter. It would be helpful to put stable bandages on overnight too.
Would the help a horse with lymphengitis?
This is a traditional remedy which has often been used for complaints affecting the lymphatic system, including lymphangitis. To my knowledge there has not been any scientific research into how effective it is and in what circumstances it might be most suitable. This means that it is usually used on the basis of anecdotal reports and personal experience. It is perfectly OK to add this to your treatment plan and hopefully it will contribute usefully, though you will not be able to know for sure.
Can i feed to cob with laminitis?
This product should not cause any harm and may help with laminitis. However if you are giving it with the specific intention of helping with the laminitis, then I would suggest giving one of the herbal blends specifically designed for this purpose. If you hover over the Horse button on the VioVet website, then click on Hoof Care, you will see a range of products of this type. (Such as those from Wendals, Dodson & Horrell or Global Herbs.)
