Hilton Herbs Psyllium contains only 100% pure Psyllium Husks for normal bowel function. When eaten it forms a gel inside the gut which soaks up any excess liquid and eases the passage of stubborn matter. Particularly helpful if sand has been ingested or the gut needs clearing quickly.
Please note your horse will require access to water at all times due to the Psyllium absorbing water when ingested.

I have 16hh mare who has wintered on sandy pasture and is now back on clay soil grazing.
I want to give her a course of psyllium and wondered how much to feed as I can not find any instructions for this product.
Also is this product best to be fed mixed into wet feed or dry?

When you are feeding Phyllium Husks, ensure that your horse always has access to plenty of water, a be sure that they are not confined. They should be able to get a lot of free movement to get the best out of the supplement. The recommended feeding amount is to feed a 15ml scoop, 2-3 times per day for 7 days. You may repeat as required. Just mix it in with your horse's regular feed.
