Your cat’s digestive health can be negatively affected by many things, and when your cat has digestive upset, it’s a thoroughly unpleasant experience for everyone involved. The good news is that you can help your cat feel better with food that revolutionises the way to approach fibre-responsive GI issues by putting microbiome health – the unique gut ecosystem of your pet - at the forefront of GI care.
Hill’s nutritionists and veterinarians formulated Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome nutrition with ActivBiome+, a proprietary ingredient technology, clinically shown to promote regular healthy stool in as little as 24 hours and help reduce risk of recurrence.

It's a great product with animals that have sensitive tummys
Customer recommends this product
My cat Pepe developed a sensitivity to his usual cat biscuits at the age of 14. I saw Hills Gastrointestinal Biome dry cat food advertised so thought I'd give it a go. With 24 hours Pepe's tummy was back to normal. So we are both very pleased with the result. It is quite expensive but he eats it all so no waste.

Ten year old cat with colitis on daily medication but still very loose stools, would this food be suitable.
This veterinary diet is intended to help normalise the stools and support the intestinal system. However it should only be used alongside your vets advice, whether it will help your specific cat depends on the cause of the colitis.
