15 Cat won't eat them

These chewable pills may well work if your cat will eat them, but I have had no luck. I bought them for my eldest who is showing some signs of stiffness but he wouldn't touch them, even when hidden in food, all crumbled up. I have 4 cats, all senior, so I tried them on the other 3. Same result. None of them will touch these pills as a treat, broken up or hidden in food. A great shame as the reviews were so good but a complete fail for my cats unfortunately.

Our cat is 17 and she finds it difficult to jump up on chairs etc, after only 3months on Eastville joint flex she seems a lot more comfortable and I hope she will improve further.

My two elderly cats, both 17 years old, absolutely love these lozenges. At first I did not notice mush difference so it takes a few weeks for them to come into action but when they do is was gret to see the difference in both of them. Jumping up on chairs and sofas with no problem. Going down the stairs was easier for them. I would recommend these to anyone. It does say on the packet that you should not give them for more than 3 months with speakiung to the vet which I shall be doing.

Size of pill

What actual size are the pills?

  • VioVet Staff

Hi, I contacted the manufacturer for you who replied with the following:

"The size is about 1.5cm diameter, 0.5cm thickness. Weight is 2g. If the pellet seems to be too big, it's easily divisible."

why is it given this title? are any pills easy when administering to cats? not enough info

  • VioVet Staff

"Easypill" is a branded range of veterinary products offered by the manufacturer, Vetinnov. This particular pill is not necessarily any easier to give to cats than others but you can buy the "Easypill" cat putty in the same range. The idea is that you wrap the pill in this very palatable putty and the cat accepts it in food or as a treat (in theory!).
