Now i've got the hang of this I find it brilliant, for a senior staffie who grits his teeth but needs daily meds, invaluable

This is a wonderful gadget. It really helps with dogs - in my case - who do not swallow pills easily.

Easy to use as long as you're quick. My dogs are used to having their mouths opened and I found the pill giver easy to use. Some people may have to act quickly to get it down!

55 Buster Soft Tip Pill Giver

Our cat has gone from needing no tablets to needing several twice a day. As another customer has said, hiding pills in treats only works so long.

I think they are intended to be for single use. If so, then I'd say they were a bit expensive, but they work brilliantly. I wash and reuse ours as it's just the one cat.

Over time I think they become a little stiff and less easy to pop the pill in, but they do still work OK.

Pets rating based on the fact that she will probably prefer this to me sticking my fingers right in her mouth!

This little contraption has finally eased the pain of trying to get our cat to take her tablets (3 per day). We started with hiding them in her food, then hiding them in treats but eventually she worked out how to eat the food/treat and then spit out the tablet, foiled. Its worth looking on YouTube to see the best way to use these Pill Poppers, I certainly recommend the towel trick with just the head poking out (keeps those paws and claws tucked away so they can't catch your arms). Its still generally a two person job, one holding the cat in a towel like a Burrito and the other to administer the tablet, but it does work. We still give our cat a treat afterwards and she seems to have accepted the routine.
