Applicator for Bravoxin

suzanne

Which applicator do you recommend for Bravoxin? Thankyou

  • VioVet Staff

For administering Bravoxin 10, a vaccine for cattle and sheep, the recommended applicator is the MSD Vaccinator Gun Bottle Mounted 2ml. This applicator is designed for use with Bravoxin 10, as well as other vaccines like Footvax and Leptavoid-H. It features the Sterimatic needle protector and cleaning system, ensuring hygiene and safety during vaccination. The 2ml capacity is suitable for both sheep (1ml dose) and cattle (2ml dose), making it versatile for different livestock.

Same as Heptavac?

Karen Shubert

Does this give the same protection as Heptavac P?
Unable to source Heptavac as usual supply issues - will this do the same job in ewes that have already been vaccinated with Heptavac

Thanks

  • VioVet Staff

If you're unable to source Heptavac P due to supply issues, Bravoxin 10 can be a suitable alternative, as it provides protection against the same key diseases and additional strains. However, it's always a good idea to check with your vet to ensure the transition is appropriate for your specific situation and to confirm any dosage or administration adjustments.
