How To Use

Each graduation of the syringe will dispense the correct amount of Beaphar Worming Cream for 1kg of bodyweight.

The syringe is marked with guidelines for each 1kg bodyweight dose. In multi-cat or multi-pet households be sure to treat your pets separately when administering in food.

1. Weigh your kitten, cat, puppy or dog carefully to calculate the correct dose.
2. Remove the plastic cap on the end of the syringe.
3. Administer the required volume of Beaphar Worming Cream by depressing the plunger past the required number of graduations according to the weight of your pet.

Beaphar Worming Cream can be administered in the following ways:
• Dabbing the required amount onto the nose or mouth, from where the animal will lick it off
• Given on a biscuit or added to a small amount of the animal’s daily meal (give the remainder afterwards to make sure that all the Worming Cream has been taken)
• Administered directly into the mouth

In multi-cat or multi-pet households be sure to treat your pets separately when administering in food.

  • Kittens and puppies: Treat at 2 weeks of age and retreat every two weeks until they are 12 weeks old, thereafter they can be treated at three monthly intervals.
  • Nursing queens and bitches: Treat at the same time and as frequently as their kittens and puppies until weaning.
  • Adult cats and dogs: Treat every three months.

Do not exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose keep the animal warm and seek immediate veterinary advice.

55 Worming cream

If your dog is not good at taking tablets, this cream is ideal, is also brilliant if your dog suffers from seizures. The cream is already Insitu and has the dose measurements on the side of the syringe. I definitely recommend it.

35 Bought for worming kittens as an alternative to Panacur (which they always hate)
Verified Purchase

By on 10 September 2021

The taste was definitely more appealing to them than with Panacur however, dosing was made difficult because there is no ring stop to screw into position that would ensure when dosing you will definitely stop on the correct number of graduations . With small kittens or even larger animals, dosing appropriately is vital so if I was to buy again I’d want Beaphar to add this to the dispenser. The measurements are clearly marked on the syringe but with only one set of hands to hold wriggling pets, get their mouths just right and depress the plunger while being sure to stop was impossible meaning I felt forced to turn back to the stock of Panacur I already had and upset the poor mites for 3 days with the worming treatment. Beaphar does not say that their producer needs to be given over 3 (or more days) so am left presuming it’s a one dose application but it doesn’t say that it is. I felt a bit adrift. As they liked the taste better, with clearer instructions & a dose measurement stopper this would probably be preferable so please Beaphar take note!

Rating its effectiveness is impossible because dosing it was impossible- I’ve gone middle of the road in an attempt to be fair , ease of use scores poorly but value for money great if it had been usable. I understand it can be given in food but I’ve never found that successful in any worming treatment, food is left, wasting product which you then have to dose again using twice as much. I’m going to say I’d recommend it based purely on cost & the fact that it was not point blank refused. If I could be sure how much I was giving and how often I’d have been happy.

Each syringe contains enough product to treat 45kg in weight so you will only need 1 syringe of this medication for your two 7kg dogs.
