This Harness dog coat comes complete with an adjustable waterproof zip (length varies dependant on size of coat) and should suit most harnesses. Manufactured from our very popular 600D waterproof outer, it is also padded for additional warmth to cover the winter months. The coat has generous velcro straps and can be machined washed on a warm wool cycle. Available in sizes 8" to 26".
The Animate Company certainly know a thing or two when it comes to designing a good dog coat! In the main, all of our winter coats are Waterproof, Windproof and Breathable and available in sizes 8" - 34". All of our coats are taped seamed and washable. Apart from the Underbelly & Greyhound coats, most over 20" have two belly straps (highlighted in the individual photographs)!
How to measure a dog coat?
Measure from the collar along the back of the dog to the root of the tail. This will give you the measurement you need to purchase your coat. Please bear in mind however, that all dogs are built differently and whilst our generous adjustable velcro straps will cater for most dogs, there are others that will need a more bespoke fitting.
If in doubt, we would always advise that you visit your local pet store for a fitting and expert advice.

Beautifully made, lovely colour (teal) substantial. Ine drawback our little cav isnt keen on it because its still quite stiff and new. Hopefully as she gets used to a smaller lighter weight coat she will start to accept wearing it for the cold winter months.

I have been searching for a small, warm and reflective dog coat with a usable harness hole for some time. Found it ! This coat comes in a full range of sizes so the fit is excellent. The zip design for attaching the lead to the harness gives flexibility for different harnesses. Absolutely love it.

Excellent coat, perfect for my smaller whippet Ruthie. I have another same make for her mum. They are brilliant quality, very comfortable, wash well and they wouldn't go out when it's raining without them .

Love this coat. Perfect for my black lab. Makes him easy to see whether he's in the forest running as labs do or on a lead walking especially in this miserable weather. It fits really well and is easy to put on.
