Would this be suitable to use on a rabbit cage that unfortunately had RHDV2 in?
RHDV2 is a non-enveloped virus. Anigene has not been specifically tested against this, however it has been tested and proven effective against the representative virus for non-enveloped viruses in the EN tests standards (ECBO virus). HLD4 was effective against this in 30 mins at 10%.
Therefore it is highly likely that this will be suitable for disinfecting a rabbit cage against RHDV2 if used at a 10% dilution rate with 30mins minimum contact time.

My dog has had parvo and I need to sanitise our leather sofa is this safe to use. And if so which one would it be the hospital grade.
Any of the products in the HLD4V range will disinfect against Parvovirus. Regarding using it on a sofa, unfortunately it may damage the fabric as it is not one of the listed safe surfaces to apply the product to:
Independent laboratory testing demonstrates no corrosion or deterioration of the following materials, even after long-term repeated immersions:
Rubber compounds, Plastics, Fibreglass, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Brass and other materials found in clinical practice, in particular, synthetic floors, instruments and devices.
I have spoken to the Anigene technical team and unfortunately they cant guarantee the efficacy against parvo virus on a more porous material like leather, all their tests are carried out on a hard surface. If you wish to use the product then they suggest using a test patch (normally attached to your sofa label) to test a small area first as there are many variations of leather.

I saw a question asked previously as to whether this is effective for protecting against COVID-19 and the response was that it is too early for the manufacturer to confirm this. Has there now been any updates as to whether this disinfectant is effective against coronavirus?
Thanks
Yes, the manufacturer have now confirmed this disinfectant is effective against coronavirus.

Please could you advise me whether Anigene is a safe product to use for small animals. In particular, guinea pigs and rabbits.
Yes this cleaner is safe for use around small animals, including guinea pigs and rabbits. It should not be ingested though so you should remove your pets from the area during cleaning and ensure it is dried before replacing them.

Is this effective in killing coccidia in reptiles?
Is this reptile save?
Many thanks
I have contacted Anigene with your response who have advised the following:
None of
the Quat based blends of disinfectant in the Animal Health market are
proven to be particularly effective against Coccidiosis to a suitable
contact
time in our experience. We do supply ANIGENE NaDCC which we recommend
for Protozoa such as Giardia Iamblia and this is suggested for use
weekly as a deep clean protocol. Additionally we also recommend that
pooling water is frequently squeegeed away and if
possible periodic rinsing to limit the build up of oocysts in the
environment.
