Our customer asked:
My dog which is approaching 12 years old has recently been diagnosed as suffering from diabetes. I have just tried him with Naturediet Senior lite which he seemed to enjoy. Is it safe to continue with this food and is it sugar free. I would appreciate any advice.

Our reply:

Naturediet is pretty good for diabetes control. It is 65% meat and contains a reasonable amount of vegetable fibre and no sugar. Personally I would suggest Orijen food as even better. It contains 80% meat and no cereal grain at all. This diet has won awards in the USA for being the best glycaemic control diet available. It is not cheap, but it is possibly the best and most naturally balanced dog food available.
