My horse has suffered with a recurring abscess. This boot is a lifesaver and she is managing to live out while keeping the area clean and poultice in place . The first boot lasted months but I then used over a shoe ( I was still worried about the hole in sole) and this damaged the inside so I bought another one . So useful to have just in case.

Very good product, first fitting was tricky until you got used to it, it’s like putting on your child’s shoes, put the toe in, pull it up and get the horse to put his foot on the ground as he does this pull it up more and the foot slides in. Used it for 14 days both on concrete and field perfect, still in good condition. Only problem was the extra fabric at top of zip is flimsy and whilst putting boot on it tears so be careful

Brilliant . A little difficult to get on first few times but stayed on . My horses galloped round the field and no soreness. Wish I had found them sooner . Size guide accurate.

I use these boots for my unshod, foot sore mare. She was struggling walking to field across stones. With these boots, she happily marches out. Easy to put on and STAY on too! Great WoofWear product.

Can I use the medical hoof boot on a horse who has thrush in the hoof to keep the medication on the hoof and to keep the hoof clean and dry whilst the horse is in a muddy paddock.
Woof Wear’s Innovative Medical Hoof Boot is a unique close-fitting boot to keep poultices clean and dry. So I can't see why you can't use it without a poultice to keep the foot dry while recovering from thrush.
It can be used in the stable or for turnout* Listed as waterproof.

Hi what size hoof boot would he need for his front hoof if his shoe size is 5 and 1/4 inches please?
To determine the appropriate size of the Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot for your horse's front hoof, it's essential to measure the hoof accurately. The boot's fit is determined by the hoof's width and length, not by the horse's shoe size.
Measuring the Hoof:
Width: Measure the widest part of the hoof from side to side.
Length: Measure from the toe to the buttress line of the heel, excluding the heel bulbs.
