Oh thanks, Walter Harrison, whoever you are, and wherever you may be! It's pandemonium around the hanging bird-feeders and wonderful to watch, the sparrows queue up in the hawthorn hedge and wait their turn to pile in, while the grey doves and pidgeons congregate on the grass to clean up all the dropped seeds. Joyful.
