Very easy hoofboot to put on which protects the hoof and the sole of the hoof from shocks when riding. Perfect grip and easy to put on with a double touch tape fastening. The hoofboot is opened at the back, the side parts fold back to the side so that the hoofboot can be easily pulled over the hoof and then closed. The soft cushioning on the rim prevents chafing on the fetlocks. The Waldhausen shield on the front provides additional protection from wear and shocks.
Ideal for horses with sensitive hooves

Is this a single boot or a pair please?
The Waldhausen Hoofboot Black is sold as a single boot, not a pair. If you need boots for both hooves, you will need to purchase two separately.

How do I measure my horses hoof to know what size boot to order
To measure your horse’s hoof for the Waldhausen Hoofboot Black, follow these steps:
Clean the Hoof: Make sure the hoof is clean and free from dirt or debris.
Measure Hoof Width: Using a flexible tape measure or a ruler, measure the widest part of the hoof, which is usually across the frog or the widest point of the sole.
Measure Hoof Length: Measure from the toe to the back of the heel (the full length of the hoof).
Compare Measurements to Size Chart: Use the Waldhausen hoof boot size chart, which matches hoof length and width to the correct boot size.
Consider Hoof Shape: Some boots fit differently depending on hoof shape (round or more oval), so take note of your horse’s hoof shape if possible.
