I love the smell and it cleans well enough, easy to rinse out, but I haven't yet noticed any difference at all to my dog's hair unfortunately.

Is the product safe to use around the face ?
Yes, but with precautions:
Dilute first – Mix the shampoo with water (often 10:1 or per label instructions) so it’s gentler on sensitive areas.
Avoid eyes, nose, and mouth – These areas are very sensitive, and the shampoo can sting or cause irritation.
Use a damp cloth – Instead of applying directly from your hand or bottle, put the diluted shampoo on a wet cloth and gently clean the fur on the face.
Rinse thoroughly – Make sure all shampoo is removed, as residue can cause skin irritation.
Watch for reactions – If redness, swelling, or itching appears, stop use and rinse with plain water immediately.
