No use at all, I suppose if you had a hamster it might work, but just useless on a large dog. Back to the scissors!

This worked perfectly as my Cocker Spaniel hates the trimmers and haircuts.
She allowed us to trim her feet and ears, which ordinarily she doesn't.
Batteries lasted a long time.

I bought this product to trim the fur around my pups feet. The reviews sounded pretty good and admittedly didn't expect brilliance for the money, however it said it was quite quiet so thought this would not cause distress. When I came to use it I found it fairly noisy to be honest and it doesn't seem to cut. My dog quickly became agitated with the noise it made and unfortunately the product doesn't do what it's meant to.

My dog was constantly biting her feet and wouldn't let us use scissors on them but this is great. Not very quick as she has very thick fur but quite quiet so it doesn't bother her. She tends to have a little lie down when we're using it
