Research shows that ‘periodontal disease’ – a collective term for several inflammatory conditions in the mouth – occurs in 80% of dogs and 70% of cats by the time they are three years old1. You may not even be aware that anything is wrong because the symptoms can be hard to detect, but as well as causing painful damage inside a dog’s mouth, if left untreated, the bacteria involved can go on to affect other parts of their body.
Brushing your pets’ teeth is considered the ‘gold standard’ of pet dental care as it is the most effective way to remove plaque. Virbac offers a range of specially formulated cat and dog toothpastes, brushing starter kits and a dual-ended toothbrush which are designed to inhibit plaque forming bacteria.
Dual-ended toothbrush designed with soft bristles, with an angled head, shaped to fit pets’ mouths

I have 3 dogs and bought a new toothbrush for each of them, by day 4, the bristles were sticking out all over the place. I've gone back to buying much cheaper brands because they're made exactly the same but last much longer.

My dogs seem very happy to let me brush their teeth with these.

Can't fault the product but my dog won't let it near her mouth. She has a very small mouth.

Good product but I haven't yet used it on my cat because I wanted him to get used to my finger and the toothpaste first. Hence the lower scores.
