Place the brush flat on the surface & brush lightly in one direction to gather the fur, then just grab & pop it in the bin. For some materials, brushing in a certain direction may work better than others, try brushing with the grain!

A compact and easy to use item. It is comfortable to hold (even with semi arthritic hands ) simply brush the item, be it clothing, furniture, cat scratcher or rug, and the cat hair collects and is easily removed with stroke of the other hand. I cat sit and have now used this item many times, with cats that have very long hair & cats with very short hair. Effective not just on my clothes after brushing and combing my feline clients, but also on their favourite items, be it crocheted blanket, deep pile doughnut beds, plush scratchers and various length of pile, from memory foam mat, acrylic mat, sherpa fleece blanket, deep wool pile, or sheep's skin rug. Quick and effective to use. Easy to clean to, in case there is a risk of disease or uninvited 'guest' just dunk in hot water, or run under a tap. Compact enough to keep near the favourite comb / brush, or in my case in a pocket of my cat sitting apron. A superb purchase. I purchased 3, one for my home, one for my work (cat sitting) and one for a client's home (the cats are terrified of the vacuum cleaner)
