For cats that love life, joint degeneration can have a huge impact on their physical and mental well-being. While not all joint problems are preventable, involving joint aid supplements is a sensible investment for the future, as these contain the key ingredients needed for joint tissue repair and renewal. In fact, many people now include joint supplements as a staple part of their cat’s diet, whether or not there is an existing problem.
Extending VioVet’s service of care to pets everywhere, we have developed ‘Joint Force®,’ our own branded joint care supplement. ‘Joint Force’ offers high quality daily nutrition that is cost-effective and for those who are unable to be in for parcels, our boxes are uniquely packaged to fit through your letterbox.
Joint Force contains a unique blend of 10 active ingredients, selected to help provide comprehensive support and promote joint comfort and mobility.

We adopted an active older female cat with no teeth, so no idea of true age. We noticed she loved being active but had some stiffness in her back legs that slowed her down. She's been on these tablets for 3 months and we have seen a huge reduction in her stiffness, she can jump and run around with much more comfort. Highly recommend, easy to mix into food too.

Easy to sprinkle and mix with wet food - capsules are easy to pull apart for this. My senior cat finds it much easier to jump and is less stiff on waking from a long snooze. Very happy to have discovered these.Quick service as ever from Viovet!

My eldest Sphynx, Prune is now 8 so I decided to add this supplemental product to her daily diet in order to offer her protection over the coming months and years. She is not showing signs of having any joint issues, but imo having provided me with 3 beautiful litters of kittens at age 2 (x5) 4 (x4) & 5 (x4 ) she deserves any benefit I can give her during her retirement years to ensure she remains supple & strong in her joints. As she has aged she is definitely not as active as she once was. Although not using it as much as she once did she does still choose to run on the wheel from time to time & will enjoy some play when she is engaged/triggered. Hopefully these will ensure she remains as active as she chooses , unhindered by aches & pains. It’s early days so I don’t know if/how effective they are .

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding VioVet Joint Force Adult Cat Capsules, including answers from our team.

Hello, I occasionally breed my a Sphynx cats.
As you’re suggesting in the description that these could be of benefit to a cat in its adult life before they’ve become ‘senior’ and many owners already routinely incorporate joint supplements , I wanted to know what age is right to start and, if this is safe for a cat who is being mate, is pregnant or is lactating? If not recommended during a pregnancy wtc, if I was to be giving this product to an adult female, how soon before she has a mating should she cease to be supplemented with this capsule? Thank you
VioVet Joint Force Adult Cat Capsules are designed to support joint health in adult cats, including those who are not yet seniors. Many cat owners choose to incorporate joint supplements proactively to help maintain mobility and joint function as their cats age. Regarding the appropriate age to start supplementation, it is generally safe to begin in adult cats from around 1 to 2 years of age, especially if they show early signs of joint stiffness or have a predisposition to joint issues, such as Sphynx cats which can sometimes benefit from extra joint support.
When it comes to breeding cats—those who are being mated, pregnant, or lactating—there is limited specific research on the safety of joint supplements during these stages. Because supplements often contain active ingredients that may influence metabolism or interact with pregnancy, it's best to exercise caution. The safest approach is to discontinue joint supplementation during pregnancy and lactation unless specifically advised by a veterinarian.
If you plan to stop the supplement before mating, a good guideline is to cease administration at least 2 to 4 weeks prior to mating. This allows any active components to clear the system and reduces any potential risks to the developing embryos.
Ultimately, the best course is to consult your vet for personalized advice tailored to your cat’s health, reproductive status, and specific breed needs. If you want, I can help you prepare questions for your vet or find further information on joint supplements during pregnancy in cats.
