I would like to know if the Vets best allergy relief dog shampoo is an alternative to Malaseb shampoo ! As my french bulldog is very sensitive and itchy need a good shampoo for her Thanks
This product will help soothe the skin but it is not an alternative to Malaseb. Malaseb contains Chlorhexidine and aims to settle the normal skin microflora. Unfortunately the concentration of Chlorhexidine within Malaseb is limited to prescription only products. You can use products like Duoxo Pyo as a substitute if needed though, but you should contact your vet to see if this is appropriate.
