My dog hates coats but this slips over her head quickly due to the silky lining, elastic goes round her back legs & the coat keeps her chest & tummy clean. The coat stays put very well & there are 2 zipped openings for collar or harness. This is my 2nd Trixie Vimy coat & it copes with a lot of rain, also easy to packaway. It is not padded but as my dog hates coats I just wanted a lightweight waterproof coat & this ticks the boxes
