As we have a SUV, with extra boot size. Adding this extension helps to stop dogs jumping up at rear window or out of the car, when door open.

Definitely needed extra extension to stop our Whippet from jumping over out of car boot, fits easily on top of Trixie Universal Rear Car Grid, which is an alternative to a permanent dog cage. Comes out very easily to allow normal use of car boot. I feel my two dogs are safe in car boot now & don’t rapidly jump out ready for a walk!
