NutriScience Omega Aid is a complementary feed designed to aid in the management of various skin conditions in cats and dogs. NutriScience Omega Aid provides a high concentration of Omega 3 (EPA+DHA), together with Omega 6 Evening Primrose Oil (containing GLA). Also included are Vitamin A, D, E Biotin and Zinc, all of which are essential for skin and coat maintenance and repair. The product corrects dietary fatty acid imbalances ensuring the supply of the correct nutrients to maintain a healthy skin and coats in cats and dogs.
Available in 250 ml and 500 ml bottles.
Dosing:

| Dogs 10-20 kg | 5 ml |
| Dogs 20-30 kg | 7,5 ml |
| Dogs over 30 kg | 10 ml |
Store in a cool, dry place between 15-25°C and keep out of direct sunlight.
The product is safe to use with other NutriScience supplements, such as Kalm Aid.
Use the dosage cap supplied. Pour Omega Aid Skin & Coat Supplement over the pet’s food.
Ingredients: Rapeseed oil, omega 3 fish oil, evening primrose oil, aniseed oil, vitamin E, vitamin D, vitamin A, Biotin, zing glycinate.

Have had Maddie on this for a few years now following a consultation with an orthopaedic specialist vet for elbow dysplasia. It seems to work for her anyway, almost no lameness being experienced at all now and she is a very happy dog. Would recommend you try it, what have you got to lose ?

I am feeding my 18 yr old dog who has kidney problems, a home cooked diet and would like to add some supplements,& vitamins. Are there some that you could recommend ?

Beaphar top 10 vitamins is a popular choice and contains many of the essential vitamins and minerals your dog needs. It would be ok to give Omega Aid also but this supplement contains Vitamins A,C and E which is already present in the Beaphar vitamin supplement so ideally you would use something containing only Omegas such as Dorwest Omega Star.

Can omega aid help dogs with atopic dermatitis?
Omega aid contains many ingredients that are essential for a healthy skin and coat. It would be a useful addition for any type of dermatitis as it will almost certainly help the skin feel more comfortable. It can be used a long with all medication without any problems.
