For wall installations, tunnel extenders can be stacked together to create a longer approach tunnel to the White/Grey SureFlap Microchip Cat flap.
Each tunnel extender adds 50mm to the overall length of the tunnel. We recommend 6 tunnel extenders for an average cavity wall depth of 300mm.
When calculating how many extenders are required, divide the length of the tunnel (when measured in mm) by 50 to give number required. We recommend that you ensure that there is an additional tunnel extender length to give a lip to the installation for the pet to use as a step into the wall installation. (The depth of the Sure Flap pet flap is around 50mm when you use in the calculation of the number required).
