Water Conditioning: - When setting up a new aquarium or to create brackish water use one teaspoonful of salt per 18 litres of water. Treatment of Fungus: - Use a dilution of one teaspoonful of salt to 5 litres of water and increase to two teaspoonfuls per 5 litres on the second day. Change the solution daily until cured. Brine Shrimp Eggs: - Use a solution of 6 teaspoonfuls per 5 litres of water to produce ideal conditions for hatching brine shrimps’ eggs – Maintain water temperature at 26°c. Sterilizing: - A strong solution can be used to sterilize aquarium accessories such as nets.
