As with all these type of doors the going out and the coming in space for the animal's width is less when it comes in than when it goes out. Luckily our old lady has learned to get back in without too much difficulty but it has taken her a bit of time to gain confidence.

Having had a previous dog flap, we felt that we needed a fully working one for our new 3 year old rescued dog. This one was easy to install and could be used by our dog to exit from day one. Coming back inside took a further week and lots of treats/practice. He now has almost unrestricted access to the garden, but we have to be diligent to catch and dry him during the wet weather as he tends to come in wet and dirty.

Can this product be installed into double glazing? thank you
Hi there,
Unfortunately all our larger dog doors including 700 serues two way door are not recommend to fit into glass.
This is for safety reasons.
The cut out for the door to be safe would need to be cut in a circle with 75mm extra depth all around the cut out.
This is to strengthen the glass and most times the cut out is too large to accommodate the door.
If cut on the rectangle shape of the door the glass will fracture or break on the corners, which is a danger to the dog and the owner.
I hope this helps explain why we do not recommend the doors for glass.
