I had previously purchased frozen vegetable nuggets and didn't know how I was going to replace them. Found a dehydrated veggie mix but it didn't contain all the goodies need to keep my girl fit and healthy. Then I found Berriewood. So easy to add to raw vegetables and meat, smells divine and contains all the nutrients needed. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for a dog who has had digestive problems for the last few months and lost a lot of weight. As part of his rehabilitation I purchased this product as I felt he was missing vital nutrients from his diet. Unfortunately the mix has a very minty unpleasant smell. He's not for eating it in his meals at all. My other dog who is well will eat it mixed with warm water and stirred into his meal. I wonder if it had a meaty or more malty flavour to it, would it make it more palatable? Its a shame as it seems a good product and I'd really like my dog to consume it.

As a raw meat dog food feeder I find this product ticks the boxes. The mix includes a good range of natural ingredients which provide the additional nutrients required to compliment a BARF diet in a compact, easy to use pack.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding SmartBarf Vegetable, Seed & Fruit Mix, including answers from our team.
Sue Forrest
Does this contain peas as my dog is on a low purine diet. Also, I know this sound a stupid question but does it contain any meat/meat products as my other dog is allergic to most animal proteins.
Yes, peas are included in the bean (pulse) mix at about 10% of the product.
According to the ingredient lists published by SmartBarf and multiple retailers, the pulses/goose‑beans component (around 10%) includes peas among others like aduki, chickpeas, haricot, locust, mung, and pinto beans.
The SmartBarf Vegetable, Seed & Fruit Mix contains absolutely no meat or meat products. It's a 100% plant-based supplement made from seeds, nuts, pulses, fruits, berries, vegetables, herbs, and seaweed—designed to be added to meat (raw or cooked), not to contain meat itself
